1/ I'm excited to see Hypercall announced. This is a product the team has been working incredibly hard on for many months. Options, using Hyperliquid perps as margin. How I've seen things lead to Hypercall.. 👇

2/ Back in 2018, I started using Deribit, watching first-hand how Deribit evolved from its earliest days: launching with only options, ahead of enabling portfolio margin on top of perps. That changed everything. Bitmex started losing market share and Deribit started gaining.

3/ I've always been a fan of options due to: - options being the cleanest way to define risk - great tool for expressing very specific market views - yet, they only really shine once you have futures/perps alongside them + portfolio margin That view hasn’t really changed.

4/ Lots of years have gone by, and many iterations of decentralized options have been tried. It's ben clear what's missing: options markets have needed incredibly liquid perps venues with real margining that actually is CEX-quality.

5/ Hyperliquid changed that now. You get a real matching + risk engine, portfolio margin, and an actually good trading UX. There's finally room for a decentralized options venue, using composability of HL.
