i think if you don't feel hurt by interactions with AI sometimes, you aren't pushing the capabilities frontier very hard
examples:
- socially embodied AIs (able to engage with multiple people under the same identity with a continuous memory) able to take actions on their own will sometimes fuck up
- AIs given influence over decision-making will sometimes misjudge
- querying them in ways where they can't tell what you want to hear may lead to things you don't want to hear
