Some exciting news coming out of the Ethereum @EFDevcon event in Argentina. The Layer 2 project @aztecnetwork is getting a lot of attention right now.
What’s notable is that Aztec uses the UTXO model, the same model Cardano has been using all along, to manage private states.
The fact that account-based Layer 2s are only now realizing the strengths of the UTXO model and starting to adopt it shows that Cardano had already proven the superiority of this design and made the right call long before anyone else.
Unlike Ethereum’s account model, the UTXO model is far better suited for parallel processing and personalized privacy proofs.
This is one more reason why Cardano stands out! It has been leveraging the UTXO model for years and doing so in ways that go well beyond what Aztec is just beginning to explore.
